1. Ministry of Finance of Vietnam has launched Circular Letter No 189/2010/TT-BTC dated 24th november 2010 on dot VN Fee schedule. This Circular Letter shall take effect from 10th January 2011. 

2. From 10th Jan 2011, “.VN” third level domain name with 1 or 2 character(s) will be allowed to be registered with the same fee of third level domain name (please refer to the new fees schedule here).

3. From 10th Jan 2011, the maximum extended duration to pay renewal fees is reduced from 30 days to 20 days after the expiry date of the domain name. After this extended duration of 20 days, the domain name will be withdrawn.
