At the beginning of 2018, a new logo for .VN was introduced in order to promote the national domain name with such growing presence.
The new iconic ".VN" logo is designed with the symbol of a developing elliptic orbit which is derived by the "big dot"- a characteristic of domain name. The orbit is linked back to the softly tapered V-tail to make it look like a check mark.
The logo has a solid, seamless layout combined with the blue sea colour reflecting the international prospect of the .VN domain, which totally matches the traditional tone of the Vietnamese ICT industry.
VNNIC expect that the new branding of .VN would help increase the annual growth rate of the domain at least by 10% as it did in the past five years
