On July 22nd 2016, Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) hosted the annual Open Policy Meeting (OPM) 2016 in Hanoi office, with remote participation via teleconference of Danang city and Hochiminh city. Besides, VNNIC, in collaboration with APNIC and ICANN, hosted a workshop on DNSSEC from July 19th to 21st 2016, with the participation of more than 20 engineers and staff of government authorities, ISPs, CSPs, .vn accredited registrars.

On May 6th 2016, at Melia Hotel, Hanoi, the conference “National IPv6 Action Plan – Providing IPv6 services together” was hosted by the Vietnam IPv6 Task Force (VNIPv6TF), attended by Mr. Phan Tam – Deputy Minister of Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and chaired by Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) – the Standing Committee of VNIPv6TF.

From 25th to 28th April 2016, Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC), in collaboration with Malaysia experts, hosted the IPv6 Deployment for LTE Network workshop for engineers and technical staff of local ISPs and mobile service providers.
