Following the MoU signing, VNNIC and JPNIC held an online meeting on December 17th, 2021 to exchange information and share experiences in managing and developing Internet resources. To enhance cooperation efficiency and catch up with the developing orientation of both organizations, VNNIC and JPNIC proposed to resign a new MoU in 2022.

As the National Network Information Center (NIC), VNNIC and JPNIC has established a long-term and official cooperation relationship by signing a MoU on December 13th, 2013. Maintaining an effective cooperation relationship for nearly a decade, both organizations have actively supported each other in accomplishing the national NICs’ missions, NIR membership activities, and collaborated in Internet resources training in Viet Nam. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, cooperation activities of both organizations were conducted online. The highlighted contents the meeting are: IPv6 deployment; Resource Public Key Infrastructure - RPKI; Internet Resource Management System (IRMS); developing new services for the critical national Internet systems.
To enhance the cooperation efficiency, VNNIC and JPNIC proposed to resign a new MoU in 2022 in line with the developing orientation of VNNIC and JPNIC in the next phase.
